The
Revenue Committee invites COPAS members and guests to attend a meeting at
noon on October 30th. The meeting will be held at the office of Eland
Energy. Our guest speaker will be Jean Hale of PASCO. She will present an
Overview of Pipeline Construction and Operation. Those COPAS members and
guests who RSVP by October 27th are invited to enjoy a Chicken Caesar
Salad luncheon catered by Jen's Deli. Members and guests who are unable to
RSVP by October 27th are still invited to attend and bring their own
lunches.
Jean Hale is
employed by HighMount Exploration & Production LLC, a subsidiary of Loews
Corporation, as a Lead Internal Auditor. She is a CPA and Certified
Internal Auditor. While working for Dominion Resources, prior to their
divestiture of Dominion E&P, Jean performed internal reviews of Dominion
Transmission's Pipeline Integrity Management Program. Jean is currently
coordinating field office quality assurance reviews for Boardwalk Pipeline
Partners during the construction of over 650 miles of pipeline and 5
compressor stations spanning from Sherman, TX to Jackson, MS. Boardwalk
is also a subsidiary of Loews and sister company of HighMount.
Jean is
an active member of COPAS having served in various leadership roles
including President of the Oklahoma City Society and PASCO and is
currently serving as Vice-Chair of the COPAS Education Committee. She is
also on the Board of Governors for the Oklahoma City Chapter of the
Institute of Internal Auditors.
Jean
enjoys playing golf and is President of the Oklahoma City Chapter of the
Executive Women's Golf Association. She loves antique shopping and is a
collector of oil and gas memorabilia, particularly books and everything
"derricks" made by Frankhoma Pottery. Jean and her husband Mark travel
all over Oklahoma (and sometimes Texas) in search of oil and gas treasures
as well as visiting historical sites from the industry.
