SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION
The link contains the application form for the COPAS of Dallas Oil and Gas Industry Scholarships. Please distribute these to potential applicants within your company and post it in public areas within your company.
Applicants must be pursuing a degree (Bachelors or Masters), a CPA review course or additional hours needed in addition to a Bachelors degree to become eligible to sit for the CPA exam. Application deadline is March 31, 2008. Contact Mike White, Chairman of the Education Committee with any questions. The scholarships will be awarded at the COPAS of Dallas Monthly lunch meeting in April.
As a follow-up to last year’s scholarship recipients – Where are they now – Tyrone Hurt received his degree from the University of Texas at Dallas in December 2007 and is now with the audit firm of Hein & Associates LLC.
